Taylor Swift stops singing mid-way through her Edinburgh Eras Tour show to help a fan in distress

Taylor Swift stopped her concert in Edinburgh, Scotland on Friday to help a fan.

Swift was singing her “Midnights” song “Would've Could've” when she noticed a fan in trouble. In a video that went viral on social media, the singer-songwriter is seen requesting help for the fan. “We need help, please, in front of me,” Swift sang while playing her guitar and keeping her eyes on the fan. “Just gonna keep on playing till we find out where he is.”

Swift continued to play her guitar and pointed to the man in need of help.

“I'm going to keep playing until somebody helps them, then I'm going to keep singing,” she added. “I don't think anybody has reached them yet, and they're going to do it. Because we're not going to keep singing, we're just going to keep talking about the people who need help right in front of me. Just let me know when. I can do this all night.”

After the fan received an outpouring of support, and after Swift received a message saying they were okay, she said, “You okay? That's great!” She then smoothly returned to singing “Woulda Coulda Shoulda.”

The next night during Swift's three-night run in Edinburgh, she first sang “The Bolter”, one of the songs on the anthology edition of her latest album “The Tortured Poets Department”. She then went on to sing “Getaway Car” from “Reputation”.

Swift also added two more songs to her first live performance: a mashup of “Crazier,” a track from 2009's “Hannah Montana: The Movie,” and “All of the Girls You've Loved Before,” a song that was originally slated for her 2019 album “Lover” but was released last year. “You get extra points if you know this next song because it's a really old one,” Swift told the crowd at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium in between takes, ending with “Crazier” from “All of the Girls You've Loved Before.”
